    I'd have to concur, but unless the GOP does something drastic, Tony Snow is a good start, all bets are off for 2008:

    Anything can happen but I think the Republicans can do several things to ensure victory.

    1)Relax the gas taxes. Take a lead in the crisis to change the US policy to support more supply and make building refineries easier.

    2)Secure the boarder. I dont think it really matter what we do about the Illegals already here, we can deal with that later. Whats most important is we cut off the supply.

    Just those two things alone would secure Republicans. But i fear they are going to be spineless.
