It made me think of that scene in Tombstone when Doc Holiday died.
He looked toward the end of the bed and said "oh this is funny..."
He said that because he didn't have his boots on and he always swore he would die with his boots on.

I've heard it said that (and i can only paraphrase) . . . if there is a god, he would not make dying, something we all have to do, our final and second great common human experience a bad one . . .

"Wow, oh Wow" is an exclamation of a successful wonder. And well, at that point, he should (imo) be in a state of wonderment.

Oh yeah. Well just before that he said "well I'll be damned". LOL
I caught that as sort of all one sentence, 'well i'll be damned, this is funny' right after looking at his stocking feet.

I hope I'm conscious when I die. Like an old man in a warm bed.
I mean rather than going into a coma or getting blowdered up or crashing a car.
I almost drowned once. I had one of those bright light moments with my life flashing before me.
Kinda cool.

I pray to be mentally open so I can share my experience with those I love.
