I doubt at this point in time that it will matter much who the Democrats succeed in electing.

The level of distrust in the government and the expanding adherence of pro-gun forces to the letter of the Constitution will simply result in widespread non-compliance with any nonsense the Left may come up with.

Most liberals are very nice people.

They sincerely believe that gun control will stop gun violence.

Liberals (most of them) are the same sincere people who do NOT want strict control of our southern border.

Thus guns (and other contraband) will continue to come into the country regardless of any laws.

Here in Los Angeles the other day, a group of young men were walking down the street in one of our "tough" neighborhoods. They passed a house with a dog in the yard. The dog barked at them. One of the young men took out a gun and shot the dog dead. Obviously, young men of that ilk will not be deterred by a mere law. The bad guys will always get a gun, and the good guys will be defenseless. As we all know, the police rarely prevent a crime. Their main task is to find the bad guy after the deed. Cold comfort to the victim.
