There are too many.
They are smart..back before the ODFW and the feds started fucking with things, the fishermen shot the seals and the sea lions..and because of that, they stayed out of the rivers. It didn't have any overall effect on their numbers because you only had to kill one or two a year.

As soon as they found out they weren't getting shot, they started coming up the rivers and now there are whole populations of them that just sit on the docks waiting for the runs.

These animals are supposed to be preyed upon by man and other animals, just as fish are supposed to be preyed upon. If you don't do your job then everything gets out of whack.

Before the white men came with guns, the Indians killed them...and they killed them in large numbers.

This is not a *natural* population. It is a completely unnatural one. They don't belong there, they should never have been allowed to establish themselves there, they have NEVER had a population there. Just like with the fucking wolves. We've got European wolves, Mexican wolves, and coy wolves, and fucking wolf dogs and all kinds of unnatural shit running around ALL OVER our state, eating anything they can catch.

We've never had those animals here, they are every bit as unnatural and even more harmful than the cattle that we have..because we don't just let the cattle go to breed as they please and wander where they will without ever being restricted or contained.
