Leon Panetta on Syria: ‘We are very concerned’ - The Washington Post

Ever wonder why Obama was so eager to oust leaders of countries that were friendly to the US but leaders that oppose America are left intact? Now the countries who's leaders we ousted are set to be taken over by our enemies.

Anyhow we now seem to be set to become involved in a civil war on the doorstep of an election. 10's of thousands have been slaughtered while we stood by doing nothing. Suddenly It's an issue for us?

Let the international community straighten things out for a change. We and the Brits have been carrying to much of the load recently. If the rest of the world doesn't care what happens in Syria, why should we? If the Germans, Spanish, Italians, French, and others don't want to help we should just wish them well dealing with those sorts of people in the future and mind our own business.

All posturing for 2012 election... not to do what is right for the USA but what will get Obama re-elected

He could have sent troops in weeks ago. It's a little late to try to sell this one Grumps.

Troops should not be nor ever sent. Air support and humanitarian should have been the limit. Now its being reported that Assad used chemical weapons on hisown people last week and today a car bomb exploded in the capital killing the defense minister and Assad's brother in law. The shit is getting ready to hit the fan. Will Obama involve us?

Looks like there will be some sort of 'Wag the Dog' event. But i see it only if Obama/Dems become very worried about the Election. If they think they may lose, i expect to see a 'Wag the Dog' scenario. But they better be careful. 'Wag the Dog' scams aren't as easy to get away with anymore. The People have grown very savvy. Especially, if he decides to bypass Congress again. It could backfire on them bigtime. But definitely stay tuned.

Here we go again with the "wag the dog" accusations....anyone remember Clinton?

We're already supporting the opposition by way of Tax Dollars & Weapons. So in reality, we've been at War with Syria for awhile now.

obama is going to do nothing. He will eventually blame Syria for his losing the election. He will not challenge Russia AND China.
