Obama's popularity at 54%....How is Trump going to run on four more years of Obama?

Can a rising Obama help Hillary Clinton? - CNNPolitics.com

Obama's approval rating dipped to 50% after the Republican convention, but has risen to 54% in the wake of his party's convention, with 45% disapproval, according to a new CNN/ORC Poll. That's the most positive approval rating of his second term.

The increase in Obama's approval rating comes mostly among younger Americans -- he's up 9 points among those under age 45 while losing a point among those age 45 or older -- and political independents and moderates -- up 9 points among each group.
.
Compared with other recent two-term presidents, Obama's approval rating at this stage of his presidency ranks on par with Ronald Reagan's ratings in 1988, and are approaching Bill Clinton's 57% at this point in 2000.

I think the more Trump opens his mouth the more thankful people are with who we have now. The more Obama speaks out about Trump the worse Trump looks because Obama is right, he's not fit and Trump keeps proving it everyday.

Obama has taken off the gloves and Trump is paying the price in the polls

Oh, I agree. I think Obama, a sitting President provides a sober view of what it means to have Trump in the White House. I believe when people compare these two together, it helps Obama's approval rating.

While Obama remains personally popular issue by issue American voters disapprove of his policies.

The healthcare law remains unpopular. By more than a 2 to 1 majority voters believe the country is going in the wrong direction and by about 2 to 1 voters disapprove of the Iran nuclear deal.

Oh and like the asshole Dems didn't tie up the Govt. when Bush was POTUS??

Really. You need a better line.

The same forces that made Adolf Hitler popular is also making this guy popular. Their are just people who really want to live in a dictatorship of some kind. It just makes us feel safer that the entire group can be instantly mobilized under a strong leader who really doesn't give a shit about the concerns of individuals. This kind of thinking is useful for military units but isn't compatible in a democratic society.

Hilary is way ahead in the polls and has a 77% chance of winning. Republicans could have beaten her, but choosing Trump was a disaster

All depends on who's poll you are looking at. If you believe in polls that is.

Oh and Hitlery is her own worst enemy as she proved with Benghazi and her e-mail disaster.

You just helped me point out that Hillary is less trusted than Obama is popular, which sucks for Hillary because she is running against Trump not Obama. Trump's 'trust' numbers are much higher than Hillary.

77% chance of winning according to who? Libs just a week ago were screaming polls mean NOTHING when Trump was ahead of Hillary every day in July except for about 2 - 3 days....now you are declaring having a 77% chance of beating Trump according to those same polls? :p

Come on now. Those polls were obviously fixed and wrong. Only the polls showing Hitlery ahead are correct.

Thought you would know that. LOL

And the more she opens her mouth, especially when getting '4 Pinocchios' for lying about lying, the more Americans don't trust her.

It is the bookmakers odds

Not too good for Trump, he should be at least at 45% and he is struggling at 23%...a long shot
