Obama's Alaska Air Drop

Actually, at will employment means that you can fire for any reason or no reason at all, but not for an illegal reason. There are also other factors involved with the misuse of power issue that are separate and apart from whether the firing was a legal one.

jillain thats the whole thing isn't it? so in a state that is so dominated by the Republican Party and and with a sittig gov. with large approval ratings, what do you suppose the possiblities of the outcome of such an investigation really is? onthefence made a very good point, the democrats are spinning wheels in a misguided effort.

What is it that you don't get about bringing someone up to speed ?
Hell even pro quarterbacks sit on the sidelines to become familiar with a game plan. Or are you naive enough to think that they shouldnt even HAVE a game plan ?

Well, it's more than bringing her up to speed. She hasn't shown she knows much about the issues that I can see. Her reluctance, or her "up to speed" tactic isn't very convincing. I think she knows about Alaska, but not much else.

So there is no agenda here? This from Obama and Biden who wanted famlies left out of the campaign, and wanted the media to back off Sarah Palin? This seems tittle bit more proof that the Obama you see , thats packaged and produced is not the same one that you see when you actually stop to look beyond the movie.

And the presidential election of 2008 has prompted an air-drop of attorneys in a state better known for bush-pilots: "It's no surprise... that Democrats have airdropped a mini-army of 30 lawyers investigators and opposition researchers into Anchorage, the state capital Juneau and (Gov. Sarah) Palin's hometown of Wasilla to dig into her record and background,'' notes the Wall Street Journal's John Fund.

He reports that the Democratic dirt-diggers are looking most closely at Palin's dismissal of her public safety commissioner, with critics claiming he wouldn't bow to pressure to fire Palin's brother in law, Mike Wooten, enmeshed in a custody battle with her sister. The family, of course, has accused him of using a Taser on his 10-year-old.

Palin returns to Alaska for the first time in nearly two weeks on Wednesday night, Fund notes, and fellow Republicans plan a "Welcome Home" rally. Fund suggests that there may be a few rental cars and "fancy dress shoes'' on the gumshoes in the crowd.

He said, "family is off limits" as it states to her pregnant 17 year old daughter, not using public pressure and power to remove someone from the office because he messed with her sister. Totally different, but not shocking to see that same ol Republican spin bullshit
