When faced with an issue of issue of JOBS actually coming into America through the help of the Canadians, in building a Keystone pipeline, the President had this to say.
"I know the suggestion right now is, is that somehow, well, this Keystone issue will create jobs. That's being determined by the State Department right now, and there is a process. But here's what I know: However many jobs might be generated by a Keystone pipeline, they're going to be a lot fewer than the jobs that are created by extending the payroll tax cut and extending unemployment insurance", President Obama
Obama: More Jobs Created By Unemployment Insurance Than By Keystone | RealClearPolitics
So Obama believes that those unemployed would rather sit at home than to provide them with actual employment, simply because he decides that it's not in the best interest of America, and the economy, for them to work right now. At the very least President Obama believes the Federal Government should be the one issuing the checks to those without work than any private sector employer, because having more Americans with a limited unemployment check (than having them begin to feel a sense of real accomplishment actually earning one) creates more jobs.
Either this is Obama's rather apparent selfish ambition to try and appease his own EGO for a second term and generate more voters, or he really does feel Americans are just lazy? Which one is it?
