Obama To Announce Effort To Boost High-Tech Training Hiring
Obama has obtained commitments from more than 300 employers as well as local governments in 20 regions of the country to train and hire high technology workers in an effort to drive up higher-income employment.
The initiative is designed to prepare U.S. workers for a growing number of technology jobs. According to the White House, of the 5 million jobs available today, more than half a million of them are in fields such as software development, network administration and cybersecurity.
----------------------------------------
Business wants immigrant workers which Republicans fight. States like California, New York and Illinois are doing well. But states such as Texas, where over 4 billion was cut from education and Wisconsin where Scott Walker cut over 300 million from state colleges alone are seeing an upswing in the creation of minimum wage, no skilled jobs without benefits.
Republicans keep saying the schools are no good. Yet, parents from China and Russia send their children here to attend High School in such states as New York and Connecticut. The schools Republicans hate are in states such as Alabama and Mississippi and other such conservative states where school budgets have been slashed.
You can't complain about schools when you teach such nonsense as a 6,000 year old earth and vaccines cause autism. Who would take you seriously? And you can't keep saying that the cost of education is wasted money. If you have no solutions, stop playing. Just go away. If you aren't part of the solution, then you ARE the problem.
