For those who don't know, I have had some little involvement in
the whole "feud" betwixt that psycho, Robert AM Stephens, Art
Bell, and David John Oates.
Lo and behold, Stephens has reappeared on another board (whose
URL I refuse to promote) and is making his typical hyperbolic
statements regarding his new frontal advance in the war he has
mentally created against Richard Hoagland and Art Bell....

I didn't think he'd pop up again. Stephens periodically appears,
hosts a forum usually managed by a friend of his named Janet
Leigh, and then shuts it down when he takes too much criticism.
He's been exposed as a fraud on so many fronts, and a swindler in
the model railroad arena.
He has lived his life basically crashing on peoples' couches and in
their basements, ingratiating himself until he wears out his
welcome, then moves on to the next victim. My most recent info
had him living in Gig Harbor, Washington, and promoting a
pre-paid legal services plan. With this $30 per month plan, he
threatens to sue the planet, even though the plan does not cover
initiating defamation suits. I myself was heavily threatened by him
last summer. I'll admit he got to me, until Art came out of his
seclusion just to put me at ease.
I think Art will ignore Stephens this time. On the other hand,
Stephens knows that the way to get to Art is to threaten his
family and friends, and this worries me.
Warning: Whether or not he begins to post here, you can be sure
he's reading everything anyone writes about him. Those of you
who have never crossed his path, brace yourselves.

Here's another thing that has always struck me over the years and I am sure it has struck many of you as well; Have you noticed that Space is the great leveling field for all of opposing cultures to then get together and do things mutually in space?
