Obama supporters are scaring me

I wouldn't say that, Care. I know a lot of rightwingers that did vote for him twice that complained about him and some of his policies. Thing is that the libs put up the likes of Gore and Kerry to run against him...it was a no brainer for the independents on who to vote for.

Remember, the Bush/Gore election was decided by SCOTUS and Kerry was "swiftboated", not an excuse, but a tactic invented by Rove to great effect. That was how Bush won two terms. Not because he was either a leader with a landslide mandate or effective and beneficial policies.
Meh, Kerry's record on his actions during and after service were enough to swiftboat himself.

Purple Heart for the idiot wounding himself....:lmao:

No they weren't. The country awarded Kerry several medals based on his valor during the Vietnam war.

Romney? Got into an auto accident in France killing his passenger.

maybe not personally, but I know a lot of right wingers who all now say they were against Bush..........but they reelected him, even though no child left behind and the ILLEGAL PASSING of the Medicare Pill Bill at 3 am in the morning by holding a 15 minute vote open for 3 hours so they could bribe those voting no in to voting yes ALL happened in his first 4 years....they still supported him and they still defended him to the hilt...he was their god.....to deny such, is rewriting history.

Actually, when all the votes were counted in Fl., Bush did indeed win the state

Rove hung that "swiftboat" tag on him and he could not come up for air after that.

Kerry hung himself changing his story of what happened every other day. If he had remained consistant, he might have had some credibility when he claimed the swiftboaters were lying. Instead, he changed his story of what happened on a regular basis.

He was really late to the fight.

Even so..Bush just squeaked by in the Popular election. Winning almost by the Margin of error. Then began to run the country like he had a mandate..and the other party didn't exist. Right up until the point the economy collapsed.

Bush did have a mandate when he ran against Kerry.

everyone on your side backed Bush, 100% in his first 4 years and elected him AGAIN in 2004. No complaints from the right wing on him what so ever and every complaint from the left about bush was fought tooth and nail by everyone on the right....I see absolutely NO DIFFERENCE.

And Romney is not your Savior, nor was Kerry.

BTW Also, we criticized Bush frequently on issues like Illegal Immigration, the growing deficit/debt issue, and Medicare part D to name a few.

A LANDSLIDE!! Despite losing the popular vote. Not a sterling example of campaigning and taking the message to the majority followed by unified, effective leadership.

Kerry got that all on his own when he came home and testified against his fellow service members..How you people can't see why he was hated for that and they still ran him for President..

There were several counts..some had Gore winning.

And that doesn't take into account some several thousand votes that were illegally purged because of names that seemed "similar" to felons.

In any case..the fact that Bush's brother was the governor of the state, the fact his campaign manger was secretary of the state, the fact that two of the Supreme Court judges were appointed by his father's administrations and had financial hooks into the case and the fact that Scalia, himself, said that the decision was an "emergency" and should never be used as precendent doesn't seem to bother you folks in the slightest.

That's some good stuff there..boyo..you betcha.

Please. Bush never lost a single vote count in Florida 2000. The Supreme Court didn't decide the race in the least. They simply ended the countless recounts that 1) Showed no difference in the results and 2) Were counting votes differently.

And yes, people told the truth about Kerry.

Regardless, President Bush ran on policies and won on them.

As a nonright winger, I can definitely see where frank is coming from. It's an obvious cult of personality that is, and has been, on display for almost four years. Every gaffe, stupid comment, ridiculous assertion or otherwise made by the Obama is met with incredible defense from the teeth gnashing Fourier Complex ridden following.

They adore without question every word from the man's mouth no matter how incredibly stupid, insulting or even attacking of the supporters own view.

It is a serious and dangerous cult of personality. One we haven't seen in America. One that in histories past has led the population down roads that no one should travel.

Indeed~

I think what you fail to take into consideration is the fact that many on the right recognize what Lincoln so succinctly said - you can't please all the persons all the time. I know of no one who supported Bush who thinks everything Bush did was great. I DO know when they compared warts to Gore and Kerry, they found Bush's warts less disfiguring.

On the flipside, I know of few Obama supporters who can find a single fault with Obama, thus the 'messiah' and 'bot' references.

"Everyone".... "100%" Damn, generalizations are fun.

Whoooooooooosh!

Kerry fought for the right to have an opinion. And gave blood.

Villifying his valor and honor was beyond disgraceful and despicable.

Nonsense. Gore didnt win a single recount. Not one. He didnt win the original count. He didnt win the initial recount. He didnt win the third recount. He didnt even win the fourth recount that was eventually ended and finished by the media after the "Official" count was ordered stopped.

At no time did Al Gore win the vote in Florida..

You're fishing, do the research and you will see that the only way was with the overvotes, every other way Bush won and in some counts even increased his lead, so believe what ever you want, Sallow. But the facts are the facts.
Illegally purged votes, riiiiiight.

Benedict Arnold fought and bled for the country too. Doesnt make him any less despicable.

His first PH was because the moron got scared about non-existent enemy fire and exploded his own grenade too close to himself and wounded himself.

Damn....that is some funny shit. Great visual.

I've stated the facts.

Even using your "facts', Bush wins by under a few hundred votes.

That's incredibly specious given the corruption of the data.

What would have been appropriate was to rerun the elections with 2 candidates.

And given the dubious circumstances..I listed..that would have been valid.
