Obama Repeatedly Ripped Bush, Promised Never to Repeat Katrina
We are told over the weekend that they were 'All over it from day ONE'...when in all actuality? It was addressed officially after NINE DAYS.
Of course we are talking a MAN MADE disater versus one that was caused by Nature [Katrina], we knew was coming in advance. What happened there [Katrina] was an inept MAYOR, and a dufus Governor, both that waited too long...and of course shuffled
the blame to the POTUS...[And nevermenind tha tother Governors in the areas affected didn't hesitate to ASK for help...
New White House site slams Bush <January 2009
Where The New SITE explained: "
Under the agenda portion of the site regarding Katrina, it reads: President Obama will keep the broken promises made by President Bush to rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. He and Vice President Biden will take steps to ensure that the federal government will never again allow such catastrophic failures in emergency planning and response to occur.
And of course we are treated to comments from Gibbs that they are 'Gonna keep their boot on the throat of BP'
We know full well what this is all about. It gives this administration the Statist Congress fodder to further regulate an industry that is already over-regulated, causing higher prices here in the US...to further their agenda...by their demegogoury of this catastrophe...
Did Any of you forget this little jewel? [From Maxine "The MOUTH" Waters]?

Should BP and other parties that are involved be made to pay for this? ABSOLUTELY.
But this is a warning to alot of you that have no DOUBT as to the residuals of this, and of Cap/Trade...
I think it [Cap /Trade that was thought NOT to be high on the agenda] got moved right behind the raging immigration debate going on. And for Obama's people saying they were 'On top of it since day one'? Don't think so. They were too busy with MayDay, EarthDay and other nonsense. And Of Course Obama was at the "Media Correspondants Dinner"regailing us with failed attempts at humour.
Obama himself was out and about attending to other things. What we see is damage control from this administration to save face from the rhetoric of January 2009...when they promised NOT to repeat the 'Folly' of Bush and Katrina.
