Obama criticized Keyes' argument that the children of gay couples, if born from artificial means and kept in the dark about their biological parents, could later end up unknowingly having sex with a relative. He claimed the argument was a subtle attempt to link homosexuality with incest and said the same logic could be used to oppose adoption.

Keyes accused Obama of denying his logic because he didn't like the conclusion.

"If you can't know who your sisters and brothers are, there is no way you could avoid having sexual relations with them," he said.

I must say, Keyes does come up with some logical conclusions. He does have a point. Although I reall am not sure how it matters for anything.

Maybe Keyes can make up some ground with that debate. I dont think the race is going to be a very pretty one but maybe he wont lose as bad.

If the race isn't as ugly as most people expect, it will be because people in IL don't want to see a monarchy, with the anointed Crown Prince Obama winning. I think you're wrong, BTW (see post from yesterday), they are grooming him for President, lib or not.

I believe Keyes would make a good president. Frankly? I'd rather see babies aborted than given to a homosexual couple.

Frankly I d pay more taxes for a government program that pays the women
that think about abortion money so they hand it over to the government
run a socialist cradle to HS program and have them on board in our society.

It's a shame that still thousands of lifes are terminated for egoistic reasons
before they have a chance to fight for themselves.

Government programs would turn out abominations. Save the money, support population control, support abortion.

I prefer not to judge the unborn as abominations.

Government programs run out of control no doubt. But you have to
pay the price for your convictions.

Its like gun laws. No doubt if nobody had access to guns there would
be a decline in violent death. But its the price of freedom you have
to pay so you and I can owe one. There will always will be abuse of
our freedoms. As a reaction to end freedom is not a choice I consider.

You'd rather see a person murdered than grow up in a homosexual household? What, praytell, begot this horrendous statement.

I can’t understand why the GOP is against abortions, who do they think is going to end up raising and paying for the welfare of these little bastards?

i used to like alan keyes up until this year. i enjoyed his program on MSNBC, and he gave EVERYBODY a good run for their money when they appeared on his show. he's been scaring me this year though. he needs to take a :chillpill

I hate to go off on a tangent, but this is a fallacious statement. Most of the guns used in violent crimes are obtained illegally, while the guns used to defend against violent crimes are perfectly legal. If guns are outlawed, there will be a sharp increase in violent crime, since the criminals know nobody can defend themselves. It already happened in Australia. Innocent, law-abiding families were mercilessly slaughtered because the government took their only means of self-defense.

In Australia they have now made it illegal to carry swords, gangs were attacking each other and robbing people with swords and getting around the weapons laws.

What will they have to do next? Machetes? Kitchen knives? How far are they willing to go?

Since the criminals knew that nobody had guns and that people were even more scared of getting cut and dying slowly they used the swords in order to wreak more havoc and terrorize the citizenry even more at the same time avoiding the longer more harsh sentencing related to guns.

So, in short the gun laws made it easier for the citizens to be terrorized with archaic weaponry, it made nobody safer. I prefer to keep my gun, thank you very much.

Actually i disagree with the notion that if no one had acess to guns the death rate would decrease..........What would happen is law abiding citizens would not have any way to defend themselves, and criminals would still get guns anyway they could..Thats just human nature of criminals. Id like to ask you a question? What good are cops when all they do is chalk line the bodies and Maybe find who did it. If somone breaks into my home I want and deserve the right to protect myself and my family from an armed intruder. Secondly what about riding on a subway and someone points a gun at you, what do you do, just surrender you life? I really don't think so! And just for the record I respect cops and the work they do, but they can't possibly be everywhere at all times.
