How unAmerican is this guy. This is so arrogant on Obama’s part. American citizens must not allow Obama and his so-called "progressives" to attribute the motive of "anger" to the great passion for liberty which is being felt and expressed today. The Democrats call it "anger," but "anger" doesn't adequately describe the emotion that is being expressed by the patriotic American citizens who are a part of the Taxed Enough Already movement in 2010. No, "anger" more aptly describes Obama and his fellow Democrats who react to every criticism of the abusive and intrusive policies they have coercively imposed on citizens by "fighting" back with attempts to belittle and demean those who disagree with them.

Obama Blames The Bad Economy On Americans Inability To “Think Clearly”

WEST NEWTON, Mass. - President Barack Obama said Americans' "fear and frustration" is to blame for an intense midterm election cycle that threatens to derail the Democratic agenda.
"Part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now and facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time is because we're hardwired not to always think clearly when we're scared,” Obama said Saturday evening in remarks at a small Democratic fundraiser Saturday evening. “And the country's scared.”

Obama told the several dozen donors that he was offering them his “view from the Oval Office.” He faulted the economic downturn for Americans’ inability to “think clearly” and said the burden is on Democrats “to break through the fear and the frustration people are feeling.”

What Obama said is clearly the opposite of the OP. Cause and effect escapes a good amount of American minds.

Alot of people in this country really dig flag wavers and cross holders as opposed to cold hard facts.

"Fear and frustration" is what got him elected, and more of the same is what will get him booted.

Ah, the old, "he didn't mean what he said," or "he didn't say what he meant."

Those with government jobs seem to be immune to the economic fallout the rest of us are dealing with. Our opinions are not rooted in 'fear', but the reality of paying bills and raising families. We are not ignorant, though it seems like many liberals, that's the best excuse they can come up with for those that disagree with their opinions.

Now practically speaking, how insulting the electorate is going to result in more votes for his programs, that I'm baffled by.

For eight years Bush and his cowboy PNAC'ers lobbed programs and actions on to the American public..as well as gifting his "base"..with riches. He sold that as being cheap..and/or free.

Now that the check has come..you guys don't want to pay.

    Extraordinary.

What is extraordinary is your failure to stop with the blame Bush rhetoric. It's not working anymore.
