Great title to a very real possibility.

You know the mainstream media is at this very moment working overtime to try and protect Obama from the damage that will result against the Democrat brand name if Brown wins in Massachusetts today. Problem is, Obama's biggest fight to maintain some semblance of power could very well be against figures within his own Democrat Party...

    Obama is facing Mass. defection

BOSTON -- Underdog Scott Brown widened his lead yesterday over Democrat Martha Coakley in the battle today for Ted Kennedy's Massachusetts Senate seat, according to a slew of last-minute polls -- one of which showed the Republican lawmaker jumping out to double-digit leads in key areas.

In a true "blue" state where Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1, an upset victory by Brown would be a stunning rebuke to President Obama and his policies, pundits say.

Many Massachusetts Democrats and independents told The Post yesterday they intended to vote for Brown because they were disgusted with Obama's handling of terrorism, health care and taxes.
