Obama s Strong Disapproval Double His Strong Approval
Presidential Approval Ratings -- George W. Bush Gallup Historical Trends
In the last quarter of 2006, George W Bush had an approval rating of 44%, currently that is President Obama's overall approval rating. Add the 8 years of Billary and the United States has been exposed to poor leadership for 24 straight years. Is it any wonder that over 70% of the people feel the United States is on a negative course? Can the United States recover from 24 devastating years of job outsourcing, borrowing $ from China to fight a war, and socialist welfare state?

You could add Reagan's profligate spending to all that.

Watching both parties point the finger at the other and say "YOUR guy is EVEN MORE unpopular than MY guy", while amusing, is one of the more frustrating aspects of following politics.

Partisans don't hold their "side" accountable. It's bringing us down, and all the partisans care about is political victory. Gawd, I wish they would find another hobby, the clock is ticking.

What are you doing about it, Earmuffs? Have you succeeded in shaming even one partisan ideologue into taking a more moderate stance?

Let's try, at least. Name a few partisan ideologues from both sides of the USMB aisle. Let's see if you can work your magic with mature discussion.

Or....you could just sit there and bitch.

Remember when you were so happy to get rid of Bush?

Now yer gonna' be happy to get rid of Obama.

8 years after that you'll be overjoyed to get rid of Clinton or Romney.

Americans never learn.

I'd bet Americans would learn, at least somewhat, if the partisans held BOTH sides EQUALLY accountable.

This party-over-country crap has become a part of the culture, and we're seeing the results.

Yea, because Obama should have cleaned up the Bush mess much faster. Look at all the help he's gotten from the Republican Party.

After what Bush and the GOP have done, saying they are "equally accountable" is bullshit of the highest order.

Americans cheer Republican or Democrat like it's the American League or the National League.

This is why George Washington didn't like Political Parties, he probably saw all this could happen.

Absolutely perfect example of my point.

Meanwhile, the decay continues.

I swear, they literally can't help themselves.

I think we had a chance before Bush turned us into a welfare state by cutting federal taxes to zero for half the country. Now that 100million Americans are on welfare of some form and half the country doesn't even work.. not to mention the fact that most politicians are corrupt .. I'm concerned that we've gone past the threshold and are on that inevitable socialist slide to the bottom that happened to Rome and all other countries that embraced socialism.
