Obama admin admits SSM is threat to religious liberty

Yeah, you're not helping your case of not being a homophobe.

And that's a good thing...dick face.
Ah, so you are a homophobe.

LOL @ "homophobe", some word some homo made up and overused as much as "bigot" by the fruitferters
Very true. It's wrong to call these people "homophobes," when really they are just assholes.

Or latent homosexuals themselves. They doth protest a weeeee bit too much.

A poll someone posted either yesterday or the day before showed that American Muslims are more supportive of SSM than American evangelicals by a large margin. Reminding us, again, who the religious extremists in this country are.

yeah, a sample set of 40k vs around 300, plus Christians divided up into various factions, yet muslims left as a single category.

Nothing wrong with the methods used.........
Truth hurts huh?

Its not the truth, its a crappy poll. But hey, what is intellectual honesty when you can get a "Zing!" in, right?

In America Evangelicals are our religious extremists. You do not hear Muslims preaching hatred against gay people on our media. Only evangelicals and their supporters

No, the ones overseas do actual violence against gay people. The ones here just try to shoot up political assemblies, and gun down unarmed soldiers inside army bases.

PRRI polled 40,000 people. Their polling and their results are sound. But, when you can't counter...attack the source.

‘It’s going to be an issue’: Obama admin admits to Supreme Court that gay ‘marriage’ threatens religious liberty

April 29, 2015 (AlbertMohler.com) -- “It is … it is going to be an issue.” With those words, spoken yesterday before the Supreme Court of the Unites States, the Solicitor General of the United States announced that religious liberty is directly threatened by the legalization of same-sex marriage. Donald Verrili, representing the Obama Administration as the nation’s highest court considered again the issue of same-sex marriage, was responding to a question from Justice Samuel Alito. His answer confirms with candor the threat we have long seen coming.

Threatened as it should be. This the 21st century, not the 12th. Let religion play by the rules like everyone else.

its as accurate as poll can be for the larger sample sizes, my concern is the 300 sample size for Muslims. Since the whole premise of the reference to the poll is that Evangelicals are more against gay marriage than Muslims, my critique is firmly warranted, even though you don't see it.

The Supreme Court has the authority to decide whether or not same sex marriage is a right that can stand despite the whinings of the religious factions.

Its comical seeing a progressive run to the constitution when they are the ones responsible for butchering it. Let me clarify: Progressives believe the constitutions says what they want it to say, and ignore the parts they don't agree with. That's why they can claim things like abortion and gay marriage are in the document, while ignoring my right to own and carry a firearm because "guns are icky"

As usual, running to 5 of 9 un-elected lawyers. For all your purported love of democracy you sure do run to the one branch of our government that resembles oligarchy a lot.

With Christians making up 70 plus percent of our country, it seems pretty reflective. It makes perfect sense that US Muslims are going to be less anti gay than evangelicals. They are more likely to live in urban areas and have regular contact with openly gay people.

The largest US Muslim group supports the Employment Non Discrimination Act (ENDA). Can't say the same for evangelical groups can you?

Your comically narrow reading of the Constitution is not the standard.

The Constitution says what the Supreme Courts says it says. Period.

Abortion and gay marriage don't have to 'be' in the Constitution, because RIGHTS are in the Constitution, and abortion and gay marriage are RIGHTS issues.

Yes they do...because they can get away with it. What do you think our religious extremists would do here if it were not for our impartial, SECULAR laws?

I wasn't arguing the result of the Evangelical poll, and the Muslim groups you quote are probably considered heretics by the ones more hard core. It still doesnt mean a 300 person sample set gives you good results.
