"Anyone who still believes a word out of Barack Obama's mouth has to be a complete idiot. The man is a lie-machine. Every speech, every utterance and aside, is designed to mislead -- whether by misstatement, omission, or outright licentious license.

ObamaCare? He really does care, even if it costs much more, to do much less, than he said it would, and even if you do not get to keep your health plan, despite how much you like it. And the mandate is not a tax -- remember that. Oh...and it's not unconstitutional overreach.

Solyndra? It was not his program..."per se," even if the principal investor with no principles was a bundler for Barack and the eternal campaign. What is a half a billion dollars between friends? Besides, the subject is raised only by obstructionists and people trying to prevent Obama from realizing his greatness......."

Medicare Part D is a federal program to subsidize the costs of prescription drugs for Medicare beneficiaries in the United States. It was enacted as part of the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 (MMA) and went into effect on January 1, 2006.[1]

Ooops...

Geezus are you fucking stupid or what? You are too lazy to read your own link.
As of April 2006, the primary private insurance plans providing Medicare Part D coverage were UnitedHealth with 3.8 million subscribers, or 27 percent of the total, Humana with 2.4 million, or 18 percent, and WellPoint with 1 million, or 7 percent. Companies with the next largest shares were MemberHealth, with 924,100 subscribers (7 percent); WellCare Health Plans, with 849,700 (6 percent); and Coventry Health Care, with 596,100 (4 percent).[15] CMS offers updated enrollment numbers on their website.[16]

And who makes the payments to UnitedHealth, Humana, and WellPoint?

The federal government.

You should bone up on Part D. It is adding to the federal debt. I'd like to see you explain how it adds to the federal debt if it isn't a government program.

It is MEDICARE Part D, dumbass.

MEDICARE.

Actually it was the democrat Ron Wyden you can thank.
For several minutes, the vote total was stuck at 58-39, until Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Trent Lott (R-MS), and Ron Wyden (D-OR) voted in quick succession in favour to pass the vote 61-39.[9] The bill itself was finally passed 54-44 on November 25, 2003, and was signed into law by the President on December 8.[10]
The Dums who opposed this (and it wasnt many) did so on the grounds that it wasn't generous enough. So much for fiscal responsibility.

If payments are made to and payments received from private companies then it is a private insurance subsidized by the gov't. That's too subtle for your limited brainpower I know.

So....private corporations being subsidized by an overextended Medicare system, is OK? Is that why you are so against taking away tax breaks for Big Oil, too? Corproate welfare=good. Personal welfare=bad. Got it.

I'm wondering if you realize how embarassing a post this is. You list two Republicans and one Democrat who voted yes and claimed everyone can thank the Democrat?
And then you make posts about how stupid other people are?????
(We're laughing AT you - not WITH you)

The one Democrat was responsible for passing it, moran. If he had voted no, it wouldn't have passed.
