Nancy Pelosi isn't "My god". Being an atheist, I worship no gods. I sincerely hope Pelosi, and the rest of the Democrats in Congress will work to seal the breach and bring civility, common sense and decency back to the halls of power in Washington.

My goodness. A bit testy, aren't we. Well, have your temper tantrums and get it out of your systems. Go get a massage, have a glass of wine or two, or even a couple shots of Jim Beam Rye, have a good meal and relax. When you're in a better mood, you'll see that the world hasn't come to an end.

Think back, Avatar .... when the Republicans took control of Congress conservatives acted the same way. They were promised a change and thought they were going to get it. What happened the day afer? Back to business as usual.
The libs are thinking the same thing and they're going to get the same results. The Dems are making these after-the-fact promises. They'll make some half-assed attempt at them, and deflect to name-calling and finger-pointing the second they are opposed.
I'm trying to remember the last time Congress -- Democrat or Republican -- actualyl accomplished something that benefitted the American people.
Might be because the so-and-so has done such a terrible job for six years.
Even so, the whole, "We won't give an actual plan and run on it." is likely to bite your bum. The populace is expecting something good, now you actually have to deliver and your silly little 100 day plan isn't going to get it done!
I think I may like the next two years!
