No time to gloat...

Nothing to fear there. His ideals were repudiated on Tuesday. But there are those in the GOP who would cheerfully sacrifice any chance at real bi-partisan work on the altar of their desire for power. And there are plenty of DeLay's proteges left in the House, as well as the K-Street Project which is still up and running, which would poison the bi-partisn well without hesitation.

There is so much hypocrisy on your part here that I dont even know where to begin. Seriously Bully just when i think you cant get more hypocritical you prove me wrong.

Nancy Pelosi isn't "My god". Being an atheist, I worship no gods. I sincerely hope Pelosi, and the rest of the Democrats in Congress will work to seal the breach and bring civility, common sense and decency back to the halls of power in Washington.

I'm sorry if you can't accept that, but it's your choice. Good luck.

The Dims caused the "breech". Civility my ass. Dims wouldn't know the meaning. Common sense from a lib dim? Bwahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaa

Face it 'tard your buds are in power so now we hear "bi-partisan". As every Republican knows when a dim says "bi-partisan" they mean the dim way or no way.

I'm gonna be laughin' my ass off at the dims as they try like hell not to appear the socialists they really are.

It is pretty sickening, isn't it....
I believe they think because they won the Congress(actually only one, the other is a tie), that they have inherited the Presidency also....
Like we're all gonna roll over now and just support their socialist programs..

:puke3:

My goodness. A bit testy, aren't we. Well, have your temper tantrums and get it out of your systems. Go get a massage, have a glass of wine or two, or even a couple shots of Jim Beam Rye, have a good meal and relax. When you're in a better mood, you'll see that the world hasn't come to an end.

Npbody's having a tempe tantrum. They just don't believe you specifically, nor the bullshit coming from the left in general.

Where was all this bipartisan spirit when President Bush was asking for it in 2000?

I think what he's trying to say.....gloat, gloaten, GLOATING....

No problemo, at least we'll only have to listen to it for two year....By then the American people will see the wolves that had been hiding in the sheep clothes...Because that's the ONLY way the Democrats can win....LIE, DECIEVE, PRETEND.....

Oh how funny also.....Haven't heard the President called CHIMPY in a few days...?:cuckoo:

LOL He doesn't even hold office and they are still worried about him. I'd love to see him run for Prez....libs would wet their pants in fear.

If you want a Democrat president shoe-in, then please, get Delay to stand...see, only the neocon nutjobs favour him, and in case you hadn't realised yet, they are in the minority - big time....

keep telling yourself that.

Ask Bush...he promised it and failed to deliver. NOW you want bipartisanship?

pppppfttttttttt

Bush asked for it and got it right up to the point where he said "no" about something and the Dem's went into their spoiled child act -- the verysame act y'all have kept up for the past 6 years. I don't see any let up coming from your lying lips -- this is just a lull.

And I haven't asked for bipartisanship. Get you facts straight. I don't believe in negotiating with terrorists and I don't believe in negotiating with libs. Y'all are stupid and don't deserve to get even one of your retarded wishes.

But might actually get bipartisanship if we get can convince the the conservative Democrats to join us on important issues.

This is the first time in my lifetime I have seen the "I'm not 'so and so'" campaign strategy work! Congratulations...

Think back, Avatar .... when the Republicans took control of Congress conservatives acted the same way. They were promised a change and thought they were going to get it. What happened the day afer? Back to business as usual.

The libs are thinking the same thing and they're going to get the same results. The Dems are making these after-the-fact promises. They'll make some half-assed attempt at them, and deflect to name-calling and finger-pointing the second they are opposed.

I'm trying to remember the last time Congress -- Democrat or Republican -- actualyl accomplished something that benefitted the American people.

Might be because the so-and-so has done such a terrible job for six years.

Even so, the whole, "We won't give an actual plan and run on it." is likely to bite your bum. The populace is expecting something good, now you actually have to deliver and your silly little 100 day plan isn't going to get it done!

I think I may like the next two years!

His idea of bipartisanship was then, as it is now, "Do things my way and we'll get along just fine."
