What's next? Will they study how some gases trap energy? That was done over a hundred years ago! It should be obvious that, if the levels of those gases go up, the trapped energy has to go somewhere. Some say it turns to heat, which also would seem obvious. However, there seem to be many who say the energy just disappears, in direct contradiction to the Law of Conservation of Energy. Guess that's why they have to keep doing "obvious" studies.
