Republicans eliminated legal slavery in America over a hundred years ago.....yet todays liberals support illegal workers who subsist in another form of slavery....economic slavery.

Personally, I like mexicans but they are being taken advantage of and not even to mention they are driving wages down. Sure the rich love the illegals...cheap labor. Well, negroes were cheap labor also....yet today we pay them not to work and pay the mexicans who are desperate for work sub-standard wages with no benefits...and critically no health coverage...so they are forced to flock to hospital emergency rooms when they are sick...clogging up the system....I say tax their employers or jail them.

Not every illegal in this country is from Mexico.

Yes, President Trump has proposed that via a program to allow in guest workers with proper credentials and health care paid for by their employers.

Americans should not tolerate slave labor even if it is mainly mexicans and chinese performing it.

It's almost impossible to get an accurate number. You have lots of seasonal workers at farms who get counted as "illegal" when they really aren't. You also have Christian networks that act as an underground railroad for illegals shuttling them from city to city. Hard to get a count when they are always on the move.

Have worked in the Healthcare industry for ten years I came across plenty undocumented workers that worked in Home Health and Physical Therapy Clinics.

So you would be amazed how many undocumented workers hold jobs in the Healthcare Industry...
