New Orleans residents warn ‘don’t sit in your car’ as carjackings spike a shocking 165%

New Orleans, labeled one of the nation's murder capitals, saw a 165% increase in carjacking from 2019 to 2022 amid the city's crime surge, city data show.

One of the nation's murder capitals is facing a historic surge in carjacking crimes​

"You try to park close to your house or where you’re going," Kelly, of New Orleans, told Fox News. "You don’t sit in your car and play on your phone."

Sally, from New Orleans, said people "have to be aware of what's going on" around them when they leave the house.

The Democrats sure know how to run a city.

What does that say about our society when people say you shouldn't play on your phone while sitting in your car?

That's like people saying "that white lady shouldn't have gone out so late in that neighborhood if she didn't want to get raped".

We should be able to go where we want, when we want and play on our phones just sitting in the car at 3am. If someone says you shouldn't do some basic everyday life kind of thing because it isn't safe then that says there is a serious problem that needs to be taken care of.

If we weren't a nation of pansy ass, weak willed sissies and if we treated criminals like criminals this kind of nonsense wouldn't be a big issue.

If our society took a hard stance against violent criminals, no bail, real jail time, hard nosed officers, judges that sentenced to the fullest extent. If we had a society that demanded criminals were treated like criminals. If we brought back the death penalty for murderes with no stay of execution, no death row, no nuthouse, no appeals, just right to execution then we would see a very rapid change in crime in this country within a year once all the criminals realize the law abiding mean business.

Let's be fair.

Neither Democrats nor Republicans can do much when dealing with certain folks.

The Democrats do not want to crack down on such horrible misconduct because Democrats want to show their sympathy for how those folks were treated before the 1960s.

The Republicans are afraid to crack down lest they be called "racists"

So certain folks will just continue to run wild.

And good people will just continue to pack their bags and move.

Kind of a Catch 22 where no good options exist, and nature just runs its course, and you watch helplessly. Fighting back, even if you knew how, feels hopeless because there is nothing one person can do to make a difference. Certain things fall into ruin, and others replace them, but without their uniqueness.
