A new Emerson poll finds President Trump’s approval has increased in the last month with 48% approval and 47% disapproval, a bounce from 43% approval in the last Emerson National poll in October. Support for impeachment has flipped since October from 48% support with 44% opposing to now 45% opposed and 43% in support. The biggest swing is among Independents, who oppose impeachment now 49% to 34%, which is a reversal from October where they supported impeachment 48% to 39%.

The impeachment hearings are being watched or followed by 69% of voters. A plurality (26%) is getting their information from Fox News, 24% are getting their information from 1 of the 3 network stations (ABC, NBC, CBS), 16% are watching CNN, 15% MSNBC and 19% are going somewhere else for their information.

The president’s support in the Republican primary increased this month to 93% against primary challengers Bill Weld and Joe Walsh. Trump's head to head matchups in the General Election against the top Democratic candidates have also tightened since October, now trailing Sanders by 1 point and leading his other three potential opponents.

The real issue is that people are getting tired of all this stuff.

Those that pay attention see the confusion and hearsay nature in much of the testimony.

Today I heard a former CIA leader talk about the recent testimony. He was asked about some of the testimony. His response was true deep state. He said that those in the CIA are taught to stand behind truth in the face of power. He explained that one witness went along with the President's wishes on a Ukraine investigation so that he could push forward the policy views of the CIA on other issues.

Another witness opposed the President for fear of what damage it might do to the Intelligence committee view on what needed to happen. Specifically, investigating Biden would make the Ukraine seem weak in the eyes of Russia.

Who the heck are these deep state people who think they run the country and set policy?

Dr. Hill nailed it when asked if Vindman's judgment was faulty. She said that Vindman was a classic warrior, 100% soldier used to strict military chain of command and procedures. When "politics" entered the policy norms Vindman pushed back, he has no tolerance for political considerations. So he may have been too high up in the government for the responsibilities he has. Trump does have authority to set foreign policy, however Trump over-stepped by throwing his weight around in Ukraine. If Trump would have been a tad more respectful of the staff, and if Sondland was more like Volker instead of a total dick, everything would have been fine.
Now Trump is going to be impeached and the Bidens are laughing all the way to the bank.
