We can "prove" it isn't true by the consistent and overwhelming lack of evidence to support such a claim, but some people will continue to "believe." Agreed - whether you choose to believe it or not is not what makes it fake. It either is or it is not.Fake news is made up. It is not backed up by facts. That is "fake" news.
What gives you that idea? This last election demonstrated the media has sold it's soul and did not apologized for it, even after being caught.Media needs to police itself, and be more careful in what they choose to promote - I think they're starting to look at this seriously.
