Nadler puts Barr Contempt plans on hold after striking deal on Mueller Report evidence
BWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!
House Judicial Committee Chairman Nadler DEMANDED the US AG, the leading Law ENFORCEMENT Officer in the United States, BREAK THE LAW by releasing Grand Jury information that SPECIAL COUNSEL MUELLER AND HIS TEAM REDACTED, information that could NOT be legally released in accordance with a law NADLER HELPED PASS!
Instead of ordering the US AG to BREAK THE LAW, Chairman Nadler could have just SUBPOENAED SPECIAL COUNSEL MUELLER TO TESTIFY in order to get the answers he sought.
When the US AG REFUSED BREAK THE LAW, Nadler and Democrats then held a vote to hold the US AG In 'COMTEMPT ORF CONGRESS' for REFUSING TO BREAK THE LAW.
AFTER DOING SO, Chairman Nadler called a Constitutional Law Expert to testify before his committee in order to testify that the US AG was WRONG, that he COULD release Grand Jury information, INSTEAD, Constitutional Law Expert Turley informed Nadler and the Democrats that:
1) The DC Circuit Court had already settled this argument months earlier by ruling that - in an exact same argument / case - Grand Jury information could NOT legally be released, except in certain circumstances - NONE of which applied in this case.
2) The US AG's stance on this was 'UNASSAILABLE'! It could not be questioned, challenged, or overruled!
Turley made one last fact perfectly clear - Nadler and Democrats DID just vote to hold the US AG in 'Contempt of Congress' for REFUSING TO BREAK THE LAW.
The US AG had ALREADY made the full report available to several select Republicans and Democrats, which included Chairman Nadler. Nadler REFUSED to look at / read the report at the time because he said EVERY politician / Americans deserved to see the full report, to include the Grand Jury information.
The US AG had ALREADY released 99% of the report, minus the Grand Jury information, but Chairman Nadler REJECTED THAT COMPROMISE / DEAL.
Last week news was reported that Speaker of the House Pelosi and Chairman Nadler were going to proceed with having an OFFICIAL House vote this week to hold the US AG in 'Contempt of Congress' for REFUSING TO COMPLY WITH THEIR ORDER TO BREAK THE LAW......DESPITE TURLEY'S TESTIMONY!
After taking so much criticism and condemnation for holding such a vote the 1st time, Pelosi, Nadler, and the Democrats could not survive holding an OFFICAL HOUSE VOTE to do so, especially after Turley's testimony and the report that the DC Circuit court had already ruled on the issue IN THE US AG'S FAVOR!
So, TO SAVE FACE, Nadler has now declared there will be no OFFICIAL vote to hold the US AG in 'Contempt' ... BECAUSE OF THE DEAL REACHED BETWEEN THE US AG AND CHAIRMAN NADLER ... THE SAME DEAL - THE COMPROMISE - THE US AG MADE IN THE 1ST PLACE BY RELEASTING EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE GRAND JURY INFORMATION....THE SAME 'DEAL' NADLER REJECTED AND INSTEAD CHOSE TO HOLD THE US AG IN CONTEMPT FOR NOT BREAKING THE LAW.
'On 2nd thought, I will agree to take THAT deal...and why don't we just pretend the whole 'Contempt of Congress' thing never happened, OK?!'

If Nadler was HOPING this announcement would make Americans forget about his demonstration of ignorance about the very laws he passes, forget about his incompetence and bias which has proven to render his being incapable of not just being Chairman of the Judicial Committee but also his inability to even remain as a member, forget that he has abused his power as Chairman of the Judicial committee to conduct Political THEATER designed to not only slander / undermine the US AG but to also take down the President of the United States....HE IS SADLY MISTAKEN!
