When you are a big time lawyer like Mueller and all his buddies, you HAVE to make it look good by getting the "poop" on someone. Far too much money has been spent now to come up empty handed------ the Left would be in an uproar. That is not to say that Manafort would get convicted, but they might try to drum up enough hollow charges to indict him. Gotta put on a good show for the Media!

There is too much money and more importantly (to people in government) too much attention on the investigation for nothing to come of it.

Someone will be prosecuted for something even if Mueller has to entrap someone (like some on said something was red and it was pink) or prosecute someone on a minor offence that plenty of other people have done and no one has gone after.

Manafort has ALWAYS been a slime bucket, way before he became Trump's campaign manager... and the fact that Trump STILL appointed him as his campaign manager, shows....at best....that Trump is incompetent and.......at worst.....that Trump is just as sleazy.
