Mitch Daniels Says Public Unions Should Be Abolished

The Soviets also had a very large Public Union. It was called 'The Communist Party of the Soviet Union.'

There is a difference between the government enslaving workers and calling it a union and a real independent labor union.

Their origins are of Socialist/Communist origin. Most of their early organizers were proud self-avowed Socialists/Communists. Most are today as well. They're just more devious in how they push it these days.

That freedom of association is a bitch when the drones team up together isn't it?
It isn't a problem at all. Unless you get together, collect money, and then see to it that the person who gets elected will continue to benefit from that association as long as they negotiate favorably with that association.

In most rational debates, that is considered corruption. Funny, I don't recall the Constitution making corruption a freedom, do you?

Quit speaking authoritatively on a subject you have already proven your lack of knowledge about.

Yep. Goal is the very same.

Your definition of corruption is wrong. The constitution guarantees our right to collectively do practically anything short of rebellion.

Please elaborate.

Corruption i.e, Money laundering that favours one group of Americans over another.:eusa_shhh:

All Government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations when applied to public personnel management. The very nature and purposes of Government make it impossible for administrative officials to represent fully or to bind the employer in mutual discussions with Government employee organizations. The employer is the whole people, who speak by means of laws enacted by their representatives in Congress. Accordingly, administrative officials and employees alike are governed and guided, and in many instances restricted, by laws which establish policies, procedures, or rules in personnel matters.

Very elegantly put.

Why? Because it is based more on the body of legal decisions rather than explicitly? We all know you want to throw that right out the window.

Hitler believed in 'Workers' Rights' too. In fact his National Socialist Workers' Party believed in that so much, they would brutally murder anyone who didn't want to join.

Nobody who works for the government is under enslavement as they are free to seek different employment at any time of their choosing. Any other lies you'd like to grace us with today?

You haven't quite been on par yourself so far in this conversation.

They were in the Soviet union as it was specifically what I was referring to.

Socialists/Progressives are so damn ignorant. How can you really engage in a rational & logical discussion with them? They've become so shrill & demented. 'Slaves?' My God, what a bunch of dopes.

But the problem is once they get there...they think they are entitled over all/everyone else...It's the ultimate conceit...and frustrating arrogance of them that the public is so fed up with.
