You Liberals want a minimum wage? You got it!! Right out the door!!

Actually, over 70% of Americans want the minimum wage raised. So, knowing that liberals do not make up 70% of the population, there must be moderates and conservatives that want the minimum wage raised.
I'm pretty sure most working Americans are getting tired of three decades of flat wage growth. Working Americans made more in 1979 than they are making now according to the Department of Labor in Real Dollars. Since typically raising the minimum wage has a ripple effect, those who are making more than the minimum wage would see their wages raised also.
So understanding the plight of the working class, the GOP is doing everything they can do to stop the increase of the minimum wage. Good play! Way to stand up against the working class!

Who cares. The facts are that minimum wage jobs will be EXTINCT within 15 years here in the US. Sooner if companies are forced to pay them higher than they're worth. That's just reality.

a) Raising the minimum wage by 30% will cost those 16 to 19 year olds with NO skills, entry level jobs !
b) There are less then 3.3 million that make minimum wage.

Most Americans like you think raising the minimum wage will help but most Americans like you don't comprehend the business implications.

Again... that's why I wrote this thread... to educate most people on this forum that are grossly misinformed!
That kids 16 to 19 will lose their jobs and the job entry learning skills that are most important, being on time and being on the job!
Simple fact is these minimum wage people will lose their jobs to robots.

(Belgium, Netherlands, Britain, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Luxembourg).
Their unemployment rates range from 5.9% in Luxembourg to 27.6% in Greece. The median country is France with 11.1% unemployment.

There are nine countries with no minimum wage
(Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland.)
Five of the nine have a lower unemployment rate than Luxembourg, the best of the other group.
The median country is Iceland, with a 5.5% unemployment rate.
The biggest country in Europe is Germany. No minimum wage and 5.2% unemployment.

Folks do you all understand the simplicity of the above FACTS??
When you have minimum wages you have HIGHER unemployment. Higher unemployment means more unemployment benefits..less GDP!
But when you don't have minimum wage EVERY ONE works at their market skill level!
Why in the hell would ANY employer pay $25/hour for a job that has NO educational requirements. No skills needed other then showing up for work on time and every day for work!
That is what a minimum wage person does if they WANT to learn skills to take to their NEXT job and more money!

Very very simple. And when we continue to raise the minimum wage we will put more people out of work because it is cheaper to
have a robot as this thread started to deliver food!
It costs employers less then $21,000 (minimum wage to $10.80) to have a robot sweep the floor flip the hamburgers!
And again there are ONLY 3.3 minimum wage earners of which 1 million are between 16 and 19 and are just that low skill jobs!
