Military Times survey: Troops back Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders for president

Only 33.9% of the troops support a Democrat candidate. 60.63% support a Republican. Isn't it funny that the further a service is from the front lines the more inclined they are to support Democrats? What causes this phenomenon? I have my own theory: there are those who serve to fight and those who serve because their recruiter promised them free college, dental, medical, and a job skill.

How embarrassing it must have been for Obama when his troops tried to fire their Commander in Chief in the 2012 election. Poll: 66 Percent Of Military Members Support Romney . This is, of course, why Obama doesn't think twice about experimenting with your military by unleashing his social justice warriors to gut it from the inside out.

lets see how many blue governors allow the votes to be counted

I dunno, but my absentee ballot during the 2004 election certainly didn't get counted. I voted a few days before the election took place and they didn't even pick up the mail for an additional two weeks after that. Slow going in and slow going out.

A "Military Times" effort to campaign for Trump.

But that being said, I have heard the gripe before and it is a valid gripe = Military Members being tired of being used as a World Wide Police Force. Deployments take alot mentally and physically from service members.

No evidence for the first accusation. As for the second, well, that's why we have polls now isn't it? It hashes out the differing opinions.

I don't care how, when, or where you served. I did my time and your credentials, especially after all of my combat deployments, don't mean squat to me. And yet, I don't think my experience amounts to a hill of beans when it comes to the overall opinion of the armed services. I therefore wont pretend that the fact that I served adds to this particular discussion. Nevertheless, you must know as well as I that service members talk politics. And they are overwhelmingly republican.
