If this happens, Florida will be an even better place to relocate to! Don't let the door hit you in the ass Mickey! :fingerscrossed:

A lawmaker in North Carolina has filed legislation to lure Disney to relocate its resort complex from Florida to his own state, reported The Daily Beast on Wednesday — sending a shot at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

North Carolina doesn't need the aggravation. Then again, maybe they're looking to make Mickey the new Marlboro man. Whoppee, a free pack of cigs with every paid admission and a childrens smoking lounge.

If this happens Florida will go broke.
Disney was built for families. However, behind the scenes for decades it was not. Then it came forward in its entertainment with agendas. And finally, management promoted politics. Their political social justice agendas still have a lot of others that fell through the cracks. On the agendas they now have, perhaps toning it down a little will help.

That is very nice, could you now address the topic and the financial cost to Florida if Disney were to leave the state.

Disney will never need to leave Florida. Republicans forget they've spent decades handing nearly ridiculous amounts of power to corporations.
But yet it is the Democrats nowadays that support Disney to be its own government.

By the way, Moon Bat. It was Government Hayden Burns, a filthy Democrat piece of shit, that cut the deal with Disney that allowed them to be their own government.

As far as your stupid partisan comment goes. The tourist lobby here in Florida owns politicians of both parties and it is despicable. The dispshit Democrats in this state kiss as much tourist lobby ass as the Republicans do.

God bless DeSantis for being the first governor to stand up to the filthy bastards.

Yeah, because there's no other reason to visit Florida.

It is the number one reason people go there.

Disney is one of the largest employers in the state, move it and more than 70,000 jobs are gone

More than 1.4 billion in revenue in taxes just from Disney gone.

Then there are the 100s of businesses in the Orlando area that rely on those coming to Disney for their livelihood.

Only a fucking moron or one blinded by partisanship would think that Disney World leaving Florida would be good for the state

With the taxes being lost we would have to create a state income tax.

Of course they bring a ton of money in, but saying the state will go broke directly due to their leaving is not true.
By the way, I believe not only one of the largest, they are the largest employer in the state.

Disney (WDW) isn't going to move out of Florida.

Some things Disney is likely to do:

#1 Move jobs not involved with WDW to other locations. These are white collar jobs not associated with the theme parts, i.e. corporate and movie jobs.

#2 Disney has been around long before DeSantis and will be around long after, just wait him out.

#3 Start the Making Our Users Safe Everywhere PAC (M.O.U.S.E. PAC), and just spend the money to restructure the legislature buy funding business friendly candidates and get rid of the whack-A-Doodles. Cheaper in the long run then trying to move the park.
