One big kicker is that China and India ordered less fuel. They are slowing economically. The new feilds in Iraq are producing more. OPEC is losing on keeping quotas cause the countries that depend on oil have to pump more when the price is low to keep the country in the black.
Lybian oil feilds are back on line, the US is exporting oil and Canada is increasing their oil production.
The only thing keeping the price from bottoming out is the new distillery addition in Texas had to be closed for repairs.
