Several million people who broke the law will not be punished by executive decree. If it isn't amnesty, someone better change the meaning of the word.

Technically, it will be ruled an overreach by the SCOTUS - in 5 or 6 years. By then, it makes no difference whatsoever. Look, I firmly believe that 90-95% of these illegals will do nothing about "becoming legal". Why the hell should they? Living in the shadows - for the last 10 20 years has proven one thing to these parasites: they know how to get by, send money home and to hell with America.

I agree, but think it will be over ruled in 2 or 3 years. IMHO, all this does is create a temporary job market for lawyers. They will get paid to represent the few that do apply for amnesty.

On edit: A few of the lower paid may apply when the lawyers tell them about the Earned Income Tax Credit check they can get. Of course, the lawyers will get a good part of that.
