Gee...hmmmm... why don't senate democrats want to vote on Obama's Jobs bill?

By Associated Press, Updated: Tuesday, October 4, 12:01 PM

WASHINGTON — If Democrats want President Barack Obama’s jobs bill, the Senate should vote on it right away, a top Republican says. But Senate Democrats aren’t ready to bring it up for a vote yet.

Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday he hopes the $447 billion jobs package will not pass Congress. But the Kentucky Republican says he wants to put the Senate on the record on the proposal immediately. Obama has become increasingly forceful in urging the divided Congress to pass the jobs bill soon, delivering that message again Tuesday in Texas.

It's just a publicity stunt. Haven't you heard?

If he opposed it they would criticize him for not letting the bill come up to vote, but he isn't so it's a publicity stunt.

Either way, it's the Republicans fault. It's the Republicans fault that Democrats dont want to go on the record to support this bill.

This stunt was perpetrated by Obama by creating a bill he KNEW would never fly. McConnell has effectively handled the situation.

That Obama's constituents are not yelling and yammering at their party for so abusing the system is disgusting to me! Our nation is suffering, because our nations leader, is an asshole game playing dick-wad- spending our tax dollars to go campaign stumping!

If anything he has done proves he can't give a flying fuck about his country and her people, it is this ridiculous pretense at a job creation bill!

So, in other words, they know the bill is an ineffective piece of shit and they are not willing to hang their political asses on the line for it.

But liberal's on here and the media are going to try and pin Obama's failure to be an effective leader on republican's.

This guy can't get voted out of office soon enough!

Reid refuses to schedule debate or a vote on the bill in the Senate while Obama claims the Republicans are stalling in the House. This will backfire on him and has already started to.

Reid has already stated they will vote on it in about a month....

opps...

But why wait? If this jobs bill is so vital and good, why aren't Democrats out demanding a vote for it today?

You want to delay the vote so you can blame Republicans for the delay despite it being Democrats responsible for it.

It's sleazy politics. And people with integrity wont stand for it.

i'm not blaming anyone.
you really have a bad habit of labeling people. You really should stop.

Nope. Not at all. I simply see through your nonsense.

You act like you don't have a reputation and no one has ever seen anything you've posted before today.

What?

So he can filibuster it?

Is it normal that every bill going through the Senate need cloture?

That the way you want government to run?

He's ready to vote on the bill...he wants an honest and immediate vote on the record...why are democrats refusing to vote on the presidents bill?
