This bill was never meant to pass, it was nothing more than another tactic to divide the people in hopes Obama could win some of his shrinking base back.

It's just a publicity stunt. Haven't you heard?
If he opposed it they would criticize him for not letting the bill come up to vote, but he isn't so it's a publicity stunt.
Either way, it's the Republicans fault. It's the Republicans fault that Democrats dont want to go on the record to support this bill.
Reid has already stated they will vote on it in about a month....

The president has asked for an immediate vote...why wait? Senate republicans are ready to vote.
no idea....

Right- couldn't be democrats playing politics or anything like that. I mean why would democrats drag their feet, when a president who is a member of their own party, has asked for an immediate vote?
How come you are not pissed at democrats and at this president for playing political games when our country is suffering from such economic straights?
i would assume that the dems are dragging for a month so they can try to gather up more votes in the house and senate.
Seeing how Obama's bill takes a lot from the Republicans there should be some swing votes.
Because i dont agree with your opinion that its the Dems fault. Its more complicated than just the dems fault.
Gee...hmmmm... why don't senate democrats want to vote on Obama's Jobs bill?

WASHINGTON If Democrats want President Barack Obamas jobs bill, the Senate should vote on it right away, a top Republican says. But Senate Democrats arent ready to bring it up for a vote yet.
Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday he hopes the $447 billion jobs package will not pass Congress. But the Kentucky Republican says he wants to put the Senate on the record on the proposal immediately. Obama has become increasingly forceful in urging the divided Congress to pass the jobs bill soon, delivering that message again Tuesday in Texas.

Democrats don't vote in a block the way Republicans do. Democrats are a "coalition" party with a varied membership.
