Man allegedly executes DUI that killed his sons.

There's video of a father on a pay phone in a courthouse, pretending to be talking to someone. The cops are escorting a scumbag down the hall who had molested the kid of the guy on the phone. As the cops cross paths with the dad, he takes out a pistol and shoots the perp in the head, killing him.

It was a beautiful thing to see.

I'd have a hard time convicting this guy. if someone killed my wife I would put the piece of shit down.

This is why we need to get on Juries. Find the guy Not Guilty.

Jurors don't just Judge the Law, they Judge the Person as well. That's in the Jurors handbook.

Vigilante justice is not okay. If you allow one person to take the law into his own hands, you open the door for others to do the same. It's a slippery slope leading to a lawless nation.

Which is why things like the Death Penalty need to be kept on the table as long as there is popular support for it. If people don't think justice is being done, they will take the law into their own hands. With current DWI homicide laws, there is far too much leniency, although this is changing.

That being said, the guy is guilty of at least manslaughter. I see the trauma of seeing his sons killed as a mitigating factor.

Also being said, they have a circumstantial case only, and getting a conviction with hard evidence would be difficult in this situation.

In this case the father got both revenge and justice.

Which is a rare thing in today's PC society.

Murdering someone in an act of revenge is not justice.

Yes, I can see why he did it and could have mercy on him if I were a juror. But justice is about making sure the laws are served without emotional baggage.

If my family had been killed by this drunk, I would probably do what he did. But we, as a society, cannot condone it.

That would be like condoning the beheading of a journalist by simply saying "he shouldn't have been there".

I have no problem with what the father did......and No.....it wasn't murder.

It was justifiable homicide on a drunken criminal who had just committed vehicular murder on two children.

Yes, it can be justified. But it is not justice. Justice does not come in a fit of rage.

But given your posts in other threads, I am not surprised you have no problem with it.

Justice would be his kids alive. Revenge is sometimes all you have and I would not convict him for killing the piece of shit who killed his boys.
