Also to consider is the reality that universities are SUPPOSED to be centers of learning, where students are SUPPOSED to be challenged to think for themselves whether something is true, of value, and worthy to be followed. They are NOT supposed to be cocoons where said students are coddled and shielded from inconvenient or troublesome voices. Alas, it appears that we have lost the former in favor of the latter.Only two questions apply here:
Does the Student Org that invited him to speak have the right to do so, yes or no.
Does Rittenhouse have the right to speak uninterrupted, yes or no.
That wouldn’t happen at a typical college like Memphis because he would be shouted down and intimidated by the democrat-indoctrinated student body. Especially the racist black students.I should be clear. It appears state law requires that the university not limit the speech, even though its an outside party. As such I respect his right to be such a speaker. It would be interesting if he were part of a debate about the events or such, but that won't happen with Turning Point.
He also has no appreciable marketable skills.
He cries well under examination
I don't know what you are talking about. i stayed at a Holiday Inn once.Obviously more than you have.
The only time you were offered an appearance at a college was to clean the library toilets.
And if no one shows up he has himself to play with.I should be clear. It appears state law requires that the university not limit the speech, even though its an outside party. As such I respect his right to be such a speaker. It would be interesting if he were part of a debate about the events or such, but that won't happen with Turning Point.
the morons are the ones who tried to kill him. That kid is a moron. Sick of hearing about him.
I can’t figure out if he is racist or simply a fucking idiot. Maybe a little of bothKlan boy Horselightning lives!
In video footage shared on X, formerly Twitter, Rittenhouse was shown standing onstage at the University of Memphis as a group of students confronted him about statements that Turning Point USA's Kirk had made in the past.
"Charlie Kirk has said a lot of racist things," said a student addressing Rittenhouse from the audience.
"What racist things has Charlie Kirk said?" Rittenhouse challenged. "We're gonna have a little bit of a dialogue of what racist things that Charlie Kirk said."
The student responded of Kirk: "He says that we shouldn't celebrate Juneteenth, we shouldn't celebrate Martin Luther King day—we should be working those days—he called Ketanji Brown Jackson an affirmative action hire, he said all this nonsense about George Floyd, and he said he'd be scared if a Black pilot was on a plane. Does that not seem racist?"
And what was his response to the racist questions he got from the racist?Evidently it went...poorly. He ran off stage after being confronted about Charlie kirk.
