MAKE INDIA A PERMANENT MEMBER OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL
When the UN was formed India lacked independence
and she was not the rapidly developing world power that she is today;
a power that will almost certainly continue to grow in strength and influence until India, like today's China, will overshadow us.
The UN has lost much of its strength and prestiege
as a result of its misuse by the US, France and England,
and while the US is strong enough to long remain a member of the Security Council,
the US will become the middle power member of the Council
when India achieves Security Council membership,
And, what is more,
the US will become one of the two weakest Council members,
when England and France lose membership
to the EU which in the normal course of events should
take the place of England and France.
Until such things happen, however,
and until the charter requires a majority vote of the Council for a veto,
the UN will contine to drag along
as does a poor snake with a broken back
unable to do more than to strike at itself.
