Maine: Switchblades legal for one armed people??

Maine's legislature passed a bill allowing one armed people to own and carry switchblades with a blade of 3 inches or less. This matches Federal law (which I did not know) allowing their use on Federal property. Most states outlaw the possession of switchblades.

Wonder why 3 inches is a magic number? Somebody pulls a 3 inch toothpick out and I'm going to laugh at them. Now one of these
