I've seen probably 15 minutes of this show since it has been on but I tuned in tonight for the last 15 minutes. What do you know, the show was about a president that is mentally deranged and Section 4 of the 25th amendment was invoked because he ordered attacks on 5 Russian installations. When his cabinet disagreed he fired them. So Section 4 was invoked stripping him of power. The duties went to the Vice President. It was found the President had a brain tumor that was pushing on the decision center of his brain.
As with all TV this all worked out in the end, he went to the hospital and got treatment and realized it was correct to remove him.
Unfortunately in the real world his Cabinet would in fact protect him as would the Republicans in Congress rather than do the right thing. At least the American people got a glimpse of how it's supposed to work with our form of government. Even though it likely never would.
Also at least this moment is documented for posterity. The hideous reality recorded in a more palatable fiction.
