    Bridgestone

The non-union, low tax state of South Carolina landed yet another huge business investment, even with Obama's NLRB's lawsuit vs Boeing for locating there. The Japanese company Bridgestone has made a $1.2 billion expansion investment in South Carolina. The largest investment in the history of the state. In THIS economy at that.

Well done (R) Gov. Nikki Haley:clap2: She and the state's Dept of Commerce invested $15 million into infrastructure around the proposed site (yes, giving money to a corporation) to jure them there, gave them tax credits, and that $15,000,000 investment resulted in a return investment by that company of $1,200,000,000. Almost a 100X return investment.

Why can't left wingers realize reality when it comes to the relationship between business/government???????????????????????????:cuckoo:

Caterpillar plans $1B plant capacity expansion - USATODAY.com

The pro-union, moderate tax state of Illinois landed yet another huge business investment. NOT the largest investment in the history of the state, just normal business. In THIS economy at that AND selling to foreign, non union nations.

CONGRATS to Governor Pat Quinn (D). :clap2:

Why can't right wingers realize reality when it comes to the relationship between business/government? They don't have to screw over the taxpayers to bribe a few jobs. That a well trained, unionized workforce will ALWAYS produce superior products??????? :cuckoo:

In reality that’s the low wage, no benefits, no job security third World State of South Carolina. Of course businesses are going to ‘invest’ in states that will allow them to maximize profits with low wages and little or no benefits for workers. It’s actually something SC should be ashamed of – it’s not the Palmetto State it’s the Prostitute State.

    I’m sure they didn’t.

They'd better make sure to make Friday payday because if the pay them on Thursday, the goobers and hillbillies and rednecks will go out and get loaded and not show up for work on Friday.

They really need the NEW Boeing Plant that promised 1000 Well paid Jobs as well. To Bad Obama wants to force Boeing to Open the NEW line in Unionized areas only.

Obama is one of the best presidents ever, if you are one of the 15% or so of people who are in a Union.

Sucks ass for the rest of us.
