As an American and a working individual I think that the very concept of royalty is disgusting, and that Americans should ignore anything having to do with any royalty.

Royalty is a throwback to ancient times when the most vicious and violent people ruled over everybody else. Royalty is an affront to everything the American founding fathers believed in and fought for.

I am disgusted by the intense media coverage of Charles coronation.

What's more is that, since so many protestant denominations are derived from the Church of England, which the King of England is the head of, all Americans that intend to hold public office should make it clear that they do not hold any loyalty to the King of England - Just as JFK made it clear that he did not hold any loyalty to the Pope.
