Liberals Double-Down On Poor Candidates?!

The centrist, Biden, together (as VP) the reformer Warren, may make for the kind of ticket that true independents (the crucial voting segment that can make a substantial difference in any elections,) may easily embrace.
As an independent, I can say I'd look pretty carefully at that ticket.

The one thing that would make me vote third party is if they cram Identity Politics and race-baiting into the campaign, so I'd literally be making a fairly last-minute decision there.
.

I feel the same way ;) I fucking hate identity politics as it is simply destructive to our nation. Why use division when the democrats could win on their ideas of building America and strengthening the middle class?

You are allowed to think whatever you like, but that ticket lacks energy, it's simply better than Hillary forcing herself on voters.

Perhaps.......However, we cannot overlook the comparison to a GOP cadre of candidates that, with the exception of a Kasich and maybe even a Christie, the rest are borderline certifiable nut cases.

Loserterianism sucks so much cock that I bet even a bad Candidate could bet you bastards. You see people want infrastructure, science, r&d, education and the safetynet.

Obama won 360 electorals in 2008 and 330 in 2012. Why because the majority of this country wants those things. We don't want a government that does nothing.

18 Trillion in debt and climbing faster than any nation ever has... Good luck with even keeping all the failing programs you have currently.

Matt, yer a "Failcrat" is the problem. =)

And a racist...

It's weird that you keep copy and pasting the same thing on the internet, undoubtedly at multiple sites. I'd be willing to bet you have some things saved in work or something so you can copy and paste to boards.

How is Rand a nutcase? You prolly agree with more of his positions than you do Hillary/Biden/Warren all mushed together.

The sobering lesson for those right wingers among us:

First fact....not opinion....is that the republican party MUST always win Texas and Florida to have any......ANY....chance of winning the presidency through the electoral college votes.

Second fact....again, not opinion....is that in the above 2 crucial states for the GOP, the demographics are against their policies (I. e., the huge growth of minority voters.)

Third fact.......the GOP has managed to alienate virtually ALL minorities.

Because of redistricting, the GOP will hold the House majority for a very long time....but both the Senate and oval office may remain in democrats' hands for at least the next decade.

I'm not a republican but last election proved you to be incredibly wrong about what you feel will kill the Republican party.

Dems lost 7 million ish voters from 2008 to 2012, Reps grew by a million. Reps closed a pretty big gap, and that was just 3 years ago. I can only base my position on actual voter numbers, you're is opinion.

Is it really JUST my opinion that minority voters have considerably grown in number in Texas and Florida?

Is it really JUST my opinion that minority voters have strong antipathy for the GOPers' policies?

True, for the Dems.....having the voters and TURNING OUT the voters to the poll is not an easy challenge.

It is not as much Rand's libertarian platform that is "nutty", but it is Rand himself that is the nut case.

Let me re-make my statement.

I can only base my position on actual voter numbers, you're is opinion as to what will hurt Republicans.

Growing minority numbers has been going forever, so... 2012 proves you wrong. It's fact, provable fact... If you like I will pull the numbers for you but you can easily look up the results on the Presidential election for 2008 and 2012, one party for the first time in history lost voters from one election to the next. Outside of when Ross ran.

You may (or may not) misunderstand my stance......

There is a difference between the growing number of minority voters AND getting those voters to actually register AND showing up to vote.

If the "fear" were unwarranted,, then the GOP would not be trying so damn hard to suppress minority voters from actually voting.

My contention is that this upcoming election (unlike the 2014 one) has witnessed a pronounced deriding of minorities by GOP candidates and this may increase the minority turnout at the polls next November.

I wouldn't. They are both statists.

The one thing that would make me vote third party is if they cram Identity Politics and race-baiting into the campaign, so I'd literally be making a fairly last-minute decision there.

Of course, they will.

Biden/Warren would fire up Democrats BIG time and would have a REAL chance in the general.

mac, even with Hillary/sharpton I seriously doubt the loserterians would get Florida, Ohio, Virgina and Co. Trump won't get more then 25% of the hispanic vote.

Also,,,What is so wrong with government investing and helping people? WTF

The problem with Government helping people is it created badly educated, unproductive welfare dependent people like you Matt.

The Current Liberal Submissions For President Include:

1. A failed ex-Sect of State who has been caught jeopardizing national security and lying while staying 1/2 a step ahead of going to jail, having to rely on Obama and his crooked DOJ in order NOT to go to prison

2. An openly admitted Socialist

..and now Biden, the walking / talking gaffe machine, is giving indications that if he decides to run he will ask Elizabeth Warren, the FAKE 'cigar store' Indian, to be his running mate!

It's amazing how Liberals can't find one single genuine, honest candidate to run.

They do have a genuine, honest candidate to run, Bernie Sanders.

Sadly he is not honest. He never talks honestly how he will pay for all of his programs. He would be the first person in history to enact social ideas/programs and not have them run deficits and fail to meet any benchmarks set when selling these programs to the public.

Bernie Sanders, by all definitions of the word, especially considering the history of our nation, is almost un-American as you can get - a full-blown admitted Socialist! This is a direct affront to the government created by and entrusted to us from our Founding Fathers. Not to mention that almost every nation that has ever embraced Socialism has COLLAPSED. As if America is not close enough already to that, Crazy Uncle Bernie was to puch us all the way over by trying to completely sell us on abandoning what has kept this nation great / existing for over 200 years for a system - again - that has collapsed almost every nation that has embraced it.

He may be 'genuine'...'honest', no (he's already been caught in a few 'stretches'), but he is peddling 'national suicide'. No thanks.
