Lessons from the caucus

1) the fact that a majority of Republicans voted for minority candidates shows that the Democrats have been lying about Republican racism for years. Three of the four leading candidates were not white.

2) the Tea party has had tremendous impact on this election. Cruz and Rubio both being products of the Tea Party.

3) Hillary is not above cheating to win. Unless of course you actually believed she won all six coin tosses that have her the edge and all the precinct shenanigans are coincidence.

4) the people are angry at the establishment in both parties.

5) there is alot of enthusiasm on the Republican side, not so much with Democrats.

6) Democrats haven't had any new ideas since 1912.

Interesting that you mention Hillary cheating but not Ted Cruz who obviously threw Carson under the bus, ..
Go ahead and live in your bubble with Rose Republican Glasses..

.

Except it was Steve King who passed along the CNN report, not Cruz. Cruz knew nothing about it until after the fact, and he's also apologized to Carson.
And apologized publicly on air via the mainstream media.

Those are your takeaways?

Here is what really took place.

1. The GOP Happened to vote for a man who is an ethnic minority; not because of what he would do for ethnic minorities.
2. The ethnic minority who won has zero appeal to independents. In case you don't know and I'm betting you don't from the list you posted...independents are barred from voting in the Iowa Caucuses.
3. Independents will (as always) determine who occupies the White House for the next 4 years.
4. Nobody is "angry" at anyone. Karl Rove had it right; there are Democrats and Republicans and then there are democrats and republicans (with small letters).... There are just more republicans with smaller letters than last time given the capture of the Congress and the fact it has been MIA since then.
5. There is zero enthusiasm for the GOP; they had more ads on TV and a clown leading the charge followed by an army of fools.
6.New Ideas? The GOP wants to start yet another war in the ME for the 3rd time in 25 years.

Right, no enthusiasm for the GOP, except they had the largest turnout ever in Iowa, nope no enthusiasm at all. The first two got more votes than any GOP winner in caucus history. Nope, no enthusiasm at all. ROFLMAO

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Only Republicans are allowed to vote in the GOP Caucuses...by ordinance....Neither of the top two will get an independent sniff much less a vote in the General. Rubio may get some independent looks....but not enough to unseat Clinton once she wins and Obama begins campaigning for her.

Here is how enthusiastic it was; someone told some Caucus goers that one of the candidates dropped out. And apparently the enthusiasm was so great...it was believed by the caucus voters.

Yep, CNN shouldn't have run with an unverified story. Also since primaries are ran by the parties, most are restricted to party members, Iowa is not unique in that respect. Also I guess you missed my post on the hildabitches trust deficit.

Why are democrats NOT allowed to vote in Iowa? Is it because they are stupid?

The GOP votes with ballots.
The DNC gathers in groups like roaches.

Hence the need for coin tosses.

"the fact that a majority of Republicans voted for minority candidates shows that the Democrats have been lying about Republican racism for years."

Wrong.

This is a lie.

Democrats have never maintained that the GOP is 'racist,' or that republicans advocate 'racism' as official party policy.

What democrats have correctly stated is that conservative dogma and the republican agenda attracts racists and bigots to the party, racists and bigots who find refuge among the ranks of republicans and conservatives, racists and bigots who vote republican and identify as conservative; where it's incumbent upon republicans to determine why this is indeed the case and address the problem.

And there are elements of the republican agenda that are in fact hostile to minorities, such as 'voter ID' laws, predicated on the myth of 'voter fraud.'

Such measures are enacted in bad faith, absent objective, documented evidence in support, where republicans know that placing undue burdens to the right to vote adversely effects minority voters – perceived by republicans as likely to vote democratic, and thus burdened are less likely to turn out to vote for democrats.

Other elements of the republican agenda hostile to minorities include the right's opposition to birthright citizenship, opposition to immigration reform, and opposition to affording undocumented immigrants their right to due process – all predicated on unwarranted republican nativism and fears of America becoming 'more Hispanic.'

Consequently, the race or ethnicity of a given republican candidate is irrelevant if that candidate advocates for the above policies hostile to minorities, in no way mitigating a republican political agenda that seeks to disadvantage minorities.

Republicans are neither racists nor bigots, but they nonetheless use race and ethnicity as part of their politics of division and fear.

7) Don't skip the darn debate.

At the time I thought it exposed the Donald as thin skinned and yesterday he admitted that his decision may have cost him victory.

Yes, I was being a little picky, on Avatar saying these two men were NOT white, but I do understand what he meant and what you are saying....any person's blood that is not 100% Caucasian, makes one a minority.... (I guess)
Yes, and all that is in order to split the population to groups instead of forming a nation. That's pc is all about. Ethnic groups, women and men and religious and non religious against each other.

Yes, I know. Having a large turn out in the caucus is a lot like having a large turn out for American Idol and somehow thinking that the thousands who stood in line for days and didn't go on to the next round will all be viewers or work hard to support whomever is selected as TNAI.

Put another way, those who caucused for Senator Rubio or Ms. Fiorina would possibly stay home on election night if the Senator or Ms. Fiorina are not around in November. Meanwhile, the largest block of voters; the independents are not factored during the caucus.

So to claim that there is "energy" on one side or the other is silly.
