I have mixed feelings on the super cars. When you see them they are impressive for sure. They also feel great to ride in. (Probably drive also but I will limit my opinions to what I know about).

But really they are not very cost effective. Out of the box the newest Mustang GT does 13.0 1/4's. Give me a 150k budget and a new Mustang and I bet I have something at least as fast and at least as reliable with easier to get parts for when it does break.
