Where is the looove....?

Within 48 hours of losing one czar, Van Jones, President Barack Obama announced another one. In a speech to the AFL-CIO in Cinncinnati, OH, President Barack Obama named Ron Bloom as his manufacturing czar. Bloom formerly reported to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner as part of the auto industry task force. Prior to that Bloom worked as an advisor to the United Steelworkers union so this appointment should not come as a surprise to anyone.

Later in the speech when discussing health care reform, Obama hit below the belt against Republicans in a mocking and condescending tone.

"I've got a question for all those folks. What are you gonna do? What's your answer? What's your solution? And you know what? They don't have one! Their answer is to do nothing. And we know what that future looks like...."

It seems that Mr. Obama who has publicly called for compromise on the health care reform issue has been acting as a dictator as two of the main compromises the Republicans have asked for have been shot down and are essentially off the table: tort reform and allowing futher competition by allowing insurance companies to cross state lines when selling policies. So for the President to suggest that the Republicans won't do anything is clearly an unfair accusation.

As he was railing against the insurance companies while speaking about competion and choice, Obama also went on the record to say that he still is in favor of a public option which came as a surprise as various reports in the past weeks have mentioned that the administration is willing to concede on the public option so reform has a greater chance of passing.

"And I continue to believe that a public option within that basket of insurance choices will help quality and bring down costs."

The Republican Party not only deserves to be kicked, our party deserves to be stomped on by BHO and the Dems. We screwed the pooch, and now we are wondering why we are barking.

Obama is severely misinformed. There are plenty of Republicans with ideas to reform healthcare. Such as getting the government out of healthcare and allowing the market to reduce costs and create competition.

Another "Czar?" Yea that's just we need. The Hopey Changey Titanic is sinking fast. Yikes! :(

An indication that Obama is going to follow Nancy Pants' leadership and ram through the health care plan as proposed?

First thing on the "To Do" List:

Fire ALL Czars!

What a disgrace, but then again, is it really unexpected when you hire a guy as CEO who has no executive experience and cannot spell CEO without the help of a Teleprompter?

learn to link your shit.

Labor Day speech: Obama adds a czar and mocks Republicans.

Once again Obama is campaigning instead of leading.

Right after losing a 'czar' he creates another.

It also appears Obama believes he is only president of the people who voted for him.

Ironically Nixon, Reagan, and a host of other Presidents have had Czars. Nobody's cared until Obama took office and then he proceeded to add more.

Btw, President Bush currently had more "Czar" Jobs than Obama, and more appointees. But none of the Republicans care because it was one of theirs and not Obama.

I watched the Obama speech today with much amusement. It was so overtly scripted, and so clearly intended to show Obama "coming out swinging" that he in fact appeared halting, uncertain, and insincere in his passion to recover from a very difficult August. Even the union crowd he spoke to was underwhelmed once Obama got into the heart of his speech.

This president, when facing challenge, runs back into campaign mode because it is all he knows. Unfortunately for him, the American people have grown tired of his repeated teleprompted cliches and Sunday sermon style.

It was also a grave miscalculation, the day after one administration czar resigns in disgrace, to announce a new czar position. Combine this announcement with his at times preening and uncertain arrogance, and the speech today exemplified a president in political crisis.

At present, our president appears near impotent, and quickly descending into political parody...

Did he catch that from the BOCHES (sorry boooshes) and Ronnie the Vegetable Reagan?

Yeah.....one czar canned....so here's another one.....whatta guy....easy come...easy go

Obama's back in campaign mode beating the partisan drums because the health bill is his political centerpiece....but he's full of smoke and mirrors.....truth is at this point politically he needs to get a plan....any plan!.... passed.....the Senate just came out with their bipartisan plan...it has NO public option but features insurance cooperatives instead....my guess is he will eat crow and fall in line with something like that...

DID YOU KNOW?

That the money Barack Obama has spent since he was ignaguarted would have PAID OFF 95% of the home mortages in this country?

Now--imagine what our private sector economy would have done if 95% of the people who owned homes in this country no longer paid a mortage?

Our economy--right now--would be going through the roof. We would be begging for workers that could not be found.

Another Czar--immediately after Van Jones--the Communist--white hating racist? It means another government agency--paid for by the taxpayers of this country.

You voted for it--YOU got it!

LOOK--Barack Obama is nothing more than an empty suit--that can give a perfectly pronouced speech read from a teleprompter. From the very begining he has been NANCY PELOSI'S rubber stamp. THAT'S ALL HE IS.

This is exactly why Ted Kennedy -- John Kerry & all the other heavy weights supported BO over Hillary Clintion. Hillary had a mind of her own--they wanted BO--because they knew he was nothing more than a rubber stamp--where as Hillary would have drawn the line in the sand.

The President is a partisan hack. His comments should not be a surprise to anyone.

I think the author of the article has some partisan drivel of his own going on. The President has not been acting like a dictator.
