The permitted/contracted use of BLM lands for grazing is NOT the only concern that farmers/ranchers face. Political activists & foreign entities trying to either tie-up BLM controlled land or purchase privately owned land/farms is a major concern to the farming/ranching community & should be to YOU also. Politick'n is not just related to the city/urbanite communities, like we farmers/ranchers get targeted by those special interest power & control groups that want to control 'YOUR' food supply which is 'US' farmers/ranchers. The best conservationists within America ARE the American farmers/ranchers, like ZERO politick'n with our farmer/rancher community as it's all about keeping our fellow Americans fed & that's it. Like no alfalfa means no dairy products. No wheat/barley, oats then you're eating "sawdust bread". Stay active with your Representatives BOTH state & federal & let them know that you do not want government overreach(activism) controlling those who provide the products that feed you.

Well look at that, Kristi Noem taking on capitalism. You see something new every day.

40 million acres

In 2018, the number of foreign-owned acres crested 30 million and in 2021 foreign entities owned just over 40 million acres of U.S. agricultural land. On the other hand, in 2011, 1.26 billion acres of agricultural land was domestically owned, and in 2021, that number was 1.25 billion acres
