Here, there, and everywhere.
As I keep showing with this history series, there was a time when the New York Times reported honestly, and their reports from the time are very illuminating when it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict and the competing narratives.

The palestinian Arabs and their allies claim the Jews came from Europe, took their land, and then expelled them, the indigenous people of the land. We are also led to believe that had we not come back to our homeland, life would be fine and dandy for the Arabs living here, and that we ruined their lives.

Back in July 1890, the New York Times ran this piece describing just what Palestine was like at the time.

So your argument is that it wasn't that great, so it was open to hostile take over? So, if Oklahoma isn't so great, does that mean Mexico can invade?

Too stupid to even respond to.

This isn't too stupid to respond to and in a nutshell is exactly what mindless is arguing. There is a whole crew here that argue this idiocy.

The fact that you distorted my Moniker serves to illustrate you can't counter argue.

Mindful (of rocks) is a Zionist loon who believes the Hebe criminals living in Israel can do no wrong. No matter how much they lie, cheat, steal, and murder. .... :cuckoo:

Just a matter of time till you showed up, displaying your usual scintillating anti Semitic ignorance. Every post identical to your last.

You're disqualified. :cow:

Even someone like you knows that Israel has been a Jewish homeland for 3,000 years. They were their 1,500 years BEFORE the Arabs.

They have one more thing the Palestinian Arabs will never have ... a deed to the property.

Actually Jews were in ancient Canaan 2400 years before the Arab/Muslim invasion. From Abraham until Mohammad "woke up" due to the Christian "Invasion" spreading their Word and converting Arabs to Christianity.

I like it that Israeli cool has all of those articles which show what was really going on in the Land of Israel via witnesses who wrote books, articles or anything else which totally contradicts the endless Arab/Muslim "Palestinian" narrative of THEM being the indigenous people of the land.

Their own Quran contradicts everything they have been saying for the past 100 years in order to destroy a sovereign Israel.

This might be your dumbest post yet, but who knows? In short, THERE IS NOT ONE CIVILIZED COURT ON EARTH THAT EXCEPTS RELIGIOUS DOCUMENTS AS A LAND DEED.

You seem to know where the deed for the Arab/Muslim/Palestinians is on that land.

Actually to all land the Arab/Muslims invaded from the 7th Century on.

Guide us to them.

Pretty sure he's referring to this ...

"Then We [Allah] said to the Israelites: 'Dwell in this land [the Land of Israel]. When the promise of the hereafter [End of Days] comes to be fulfilled, We [Allah] shall assemble you [the Israelites] all together [in the Land of Israel]."

[Qur'an, "Night Journey," chapter 17:100-104]

2 days after Israel's Declaration of Independence Arabs were rejecting the term "Palestinian Arabs"

Know Your History: The Jewish And Arab Populations In The Holy Land (NY Times May 16, 1948)

On May 16th, 1948 – two days after Ben Gurion declared the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel – the New York Times ran a piece on the Jewish and Arab populations in the land. And as usual, it is a fascinating look back at the past, from which we can learn a lot.

Note in particular:

  • The area now known as the “West Bank” being referred to by its real name – Judea and Samaria

  • Contrary to the prevailing narrative peddled by the haters, Jews bought Arab land – and the Arabs were more than happy to sell it to them, given the land was arid

  • Mention of the Arabs having been in the land for 1,300 years – an acknowledgement they came with the Islamic conquest of the area in the 7th century (and not earlier as they claim)

  • Mention of Arabs here rejecting the term “Palestinian Arab”, instead seeing themselves as part of ancient Syria

  • How the Jews increased the standard of living for the Arabs, but this only increased anti-Zionist sentiment (believe it or not)
