Many be it on the right or on the left in life, have since learned by their mistakes in which they have made as they have grown in life... During the growing period, there are many mistakes and bad choices made, and this happens to everyone in life. The main thing is to learn from those mistakes, and then to try and help others by warning them before they make the same mistakes in life. When people do this (try to help others in life, and this alot of times from their own experiences in life), and then they try to help those who don't want to be helped, you end up getting the same sort of attitude that you expressed in your statement above... You think of them as trying to be morally superior to you, instead of looking at them as merely trying to warn you of the inpending dangers that may come, and him or her trying to help you....For example: If you go from robbing banks to then helping a potential bank robber from going down that same road in life that you went down, then you might appear as coming off to a potential robber as acting all morally superior if you are trying to share or have information that would help that robber from making the same mistake as you did in life... If he Rob's the bank after you warned him anyway, then you still hold the high ground in moral superiority (as a reformed person) who would have tried to warn the bank robber before he destroyed his or her life like you almost did..... He (the robber) will have to reach the higher plateau by facing the consequences of his actions just like the reformed robber did. So someone trying to help is seen by you as someone thinking that they are morally superior because they want to help by doing something good finally ??
