Katy Perry new tour: on par with Lady Gaga and Pink?

Perry's says her new tour will entail 15 wardrobe changes among other things.

"I have this whole thing in my show that is about candy and cupcakes and meat," Perry says. "It's both really sweet and shocking, but not in a sexual way."

Smell-o-vision will debut too. During "California Girls" can you just smell the cotton candy? Wonder what her costume will be then?

Far be it from me to sound like a crusty old fart, but back in the bad old days of rock-n-roll the wardrobe was an adjunct to the talent (i.e. Elton John and David Bowie) not a substitute for it.
