    Yeah it's gonna be terrible. New Orleans has been dodging storms for decades. Tnis is one of the most devastating storms in recorded history. I've got some company here taking refuge in Baton Rouge and it's gonna get kinda hectic here. I have a feeling my parents might not have a house when this is all said and done. Houma Louisiana is screwed....this really sucks.

    I used to live outside the city around 15 years ago. 2 years there was enough for me, the Quarter used to smell like a cess pool in the summer heat.

    Most probably probably won't leave the city, they'll go to higher ground and figure they'll be ok. Many of my friends in Florida stayed put during Ivan with the same reasoning, have a hurricane party and stay put.
